HOW TO APPLY CREAM PROPERLY

Applying cream properly can maximize its benefits and ensure effective absorption into your skin. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Start with Clean Skin

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry with a clean towel before applying any cream. Clean skin allows the cream to penetrate more effectively.

2. Use the Right Amount

Dispense a pea-sized amount of cream onto your fingertips. Using too much product can overwhelm your skin and lead to wastage.

3. Warm the Cream

Rub the cream between your fingertips or palms to warm it up slightly. This helps the cream spread more easily and ensures even distribution.

4. Apply in Gentle Strokes

Using upward and outward motions, apply the cream to your face and neck. Start from the center of your face and work your way outwards, focusing on areas that need extra hydration or treatment.

5. Be Gentle Around the Eyes

If you're applying cream near the delicate eye area, use your ring finger, which exerts the least pressure, to gently pat the cream in. Avoid tugging or pulling on the skin around the eyes.

6. Massage in Circular Motions

Once the cream is applied, use your fingertips to gently massage it into your skin using circular motions.

7. Don't Forget Your Neck and Décolletage

Extend the application of the cream down to your neck and chest area, using upward strokes. These areas are often neglected but are prone to signs of aging and dehydration.

8. Give It Time to Absorb

Allow the cream to fully absorb into your skin before applying any makeup or other skincare products on top. This usually takes a few minutes.

9. Follow with Sunscreen (During the Day)

If you're applying cream during the daytime, follow up with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin from UV damage.

10. Repeat Twice Daily

For optimal results, apply cream morning and night as part of your skincare routine. Consistency is key to seeing improvements in your skin's texture and appearance.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your cream is applied properly, maximizing its efficacy and leaving your skin feeling nourished and hydrated.
